THE NOVEL AS PROPAGANDA.  INDOCTRINATING CHILDREN, YOUNG ADULTS, AND THE GENERAL POPULACE TO LEFT WING ACTIVISM

There are multiple beach heads throughout today’s culture to indoctrinate children and young adults to the ideology of Left-wing political activism. The library world is one of these important launching pads. In tandem, the publishing industry is another. We’ll start our reviews with three social engineering books rife with ideology-laden propaganda — two fictional books for young adults and an advocacy book geared for workers in the library world: Property of the Rebel Librarian, The Hate You Give (later made into a Hollywood movie), and Topographies of Whiteness: Mapping Whiteness in Library and Information Science.
